Michele Silva is a New York–born artist of Portuguese descent whose career spans more than four decades on both sides of the Atlantic.
Based in Carcavelos, where the ocean meets the Tejo River, her work reflects a profound love for the coast, city, and countryside of her homeland.
With vibrant, ethereal palettes of purples, ochres, and blues, Michele creates paintings that remain defiantly rooted in fine art while blooming with a fantastical energy all their own.
